We are a small, but very experienced miniature horse stud tucked
away in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Calvados region in
Normandy, France.

Our aim is to breed the perfect horse in miniature incorporating
proportion, conformation, temperament and movement.

We moved to France from the UK in 2005. Our stud's location, in the peaceful,
rural countryside, is ideal for helping us to realise our breeding aims.

We have owned, bred and shown miniatures for 12 years now. It took us 5 years
of careful and meticulous research to gather our current breeding stock to ensure
the right type and proven bloodlines to give us a background of show
winners and genetics
, together with correct conformation, movement and
temperament to achieve our aims.
.
Indiscriminate breeding is not our strategy - we do not breed for the sake
of it
, we select the right mares to breed to a certain stallion to ensure,
as far as possible, a true horse in miniature is the end result. So far, we are
pleased with our results. It is still, however, a 'work in progress', but work that
we find truly inspiring and incredibly rewarding.

We have three breeding stallions in our herd, providing a superb mix of
bloodlines, incorporating the best of British and AMHA horses. These three
gentlemen are different types of horses giving us flexibility to breed both refined
and lightweight hunter type of miniature. See our
Stallions page for more details.

Our mares are hand picked and top quality, chosen for their bloodlines,
colour, temperament and conformation.

Our horses live as natural life as we can give them. The stallions are not
isolated; they are housed so as to interact with others as closely as
possible in their paddocks and stables.

Most of the horses live out all year round, however they all have access at
all times to cosy, warm shelters. We find this makes for a happier and
healthier herd of miniatures.

All our horses are treated as individuals in our feeding regime according
to their needs. We make sure their every need is met and the condition
of our herd speaks volumes to our dedication to welfare.
We never compromise on welfare.

Please browse our website pages - we sometimes offer some of our
superb horses for sale to approved homes.
